Malar

Beastlord Malakar was the most esteemed Orcish hunter across the entire Aether. If an animal has existed, he has tamed or hunted it. Due to his strong skills with animals, Sylf championed him and tasked him with ensuring that any mortal that hunts for sport and rather than for gathering materials are punished.
In a ritual to the Beastlord Malakar gone awry, many souls of druids and hunters have been stolen and confined to the bodies of the prey the sought to hunt. Their souls permanently awakened the animals. Through this process, the animals have gained enhanced abilities relative to the soul that was melded with them.
