Månedrikker's Cutlass

This sword was given the Captain Månedrikker in The Fourth Age as a gift from the Heroes for giving them passage to The Shining Islands. Sadly, she never used it. She was struck down on the return voyage when a Celestial descended directly into her and down through the bottom of the ship, her beloved Blade of the Sea II. She was later returned to life by Mar but the ship and sword both fell to the vasty deep that day, and the superstitious pirate captain never wanted to reclaim what she considered a cursed blade.

Powers

The Cutlass is a +1 scimitar that requires attunement. Once attuned, in addition to the magical bonus on attack and damage, it can cast a unique ancient spell called "Slimewave", now lost to the ages, for a limited number of charges known only to the Heroes Mar & Astrid. This spell functions as the spell "Fire Storm" except that the damage is Acid instead of Fire, and it appears as a waves of green slime rather than "sheets of roaring flame".
