Cult of Eindride

The Hero Eindride

Once a half-elf ranger who stopped the Forgotten Powers from ending the world in the Fourth Age. Eindride is Elvish for "One who rides alone". Indeed, he is rarely seen in the company of the other Heroes except when defending Voktegård against a Celestial attack. He carries Stjerneskudd and rides a horse made of magical smoke that travels faster than the eye can see. Those who follow Eindride maintain a superstition that any owl seen flying overhead or perched watching the affairs of the world could be Hawthorne, the scouting avian companion of the Hero. His symbol is the silver hand with a flame in the palm.

Cult Structure

The Cult of Eindride has only one official Shrine in Gothiland west of Traff, halfway to the Dalland border. It typically has tents and wagons set up around it, but it is a modest shrine with no staff or other permanent outbuildings. Eindride accepts followers and does have clerics, but does not have a formal priesthood like the other Heroes largely due to the fact that he champions following one's own path in life. Eindride does, however, have many followers that are Oath of Vengeance Paladins (the only type of Paladin that can follow Eindride).

  1. Follow one's own path in life.
  2. Serve no master.
  3. Make no oaths save the Oath of Vengeance.
