Cosmology of Voktegård

Voktegård is thought to exist inside a protective magical shield called the Innervegg. It seems other worlds also have their own Innervegg. Each of these worlds exists in the Midt-Indre (Elvish for "Living Realm"), the vast expanse we would call "space". This is bounded by another magical barrier known as the Midtvegg (Elvish for "Middle Wall"), and beyond it is the Midt-Ytre (Elvish for Divine Realm). The Divine Realm is the home of the Celestials. Beyond this is the Yttervegg (Elvish for "Outer Wall"), the barrier between the Divine Realm and the Realm of the Dead (Ytreike in Elvish). Souls of the dead go here and sometimes return in new bodies if they choose to reincarnate, according to the Old Religion.
