Innervegg

The Innervegg ("Inner Wall" in Elvish) is a magical shield layer in Voktegard's atmosphere. Stranger wizards have confirmed the world they came from (Oerth) also had an Innervegg of some kind (though they called it a "Lower Firmament"). It is thought to play a key role in the way spells that access other worlds cause unmitigated exposure to Taint. It is part of the Cosmology of Voktegård, as tampering with the atmosphere of Oerth did not cause any Taint.
