The Larkenzi encounter another sapient alien species. The problem is that this species is nowhere near as advanced as them- because this would be humans around the 3900s BCE. They establish an observation post with an AI (Tiamat) to observe human progress throughout the years. This AI eventually went mad and decided to influence human culture, but it eventually broke.
