Anatomy

Larkenzi are humanoid. They are taller than humans, and have long limbs. They are also relatively muscular due to many years of genetic manipulation.

Biological Traits

Due to their many years of biological modification, the Larkenzi were extremely powerful mentally and physically. They could also effectively live forever.

Larkenzi stopped reproducing normally, and instead used genetic designer pods to create perfect children.

The Larkenzi achieved technology far beyond the wildest dreams of anything current civilizations have done. Advanced genetic manipulation, teleportation, seamless integration of magic and technology.

History

In one part of this galaxy, there was a particularly active group of a couple thousand stars. For some raw coincidence, these little stars systems happened to have a lot of life. The first civilization to develop was one known as the Larkenzi. They were roughly humanoid, but slightly taller and with pale transparent skin. They made great progress in both science and the arcane, thanks to their great curiosity and intellect. With their combination of magic and science, they quickly spread across the galaxy. Eventually, being on the first space faring species, they made contact with the gods. But, they eventually got too curious. They learned about Apollyon. They began rituals and sacrifices to summon them, but this went very wrong. They summoned hoards of demons that slaughtered their civilization. Maybe trying to summon a god of chaos isn’t the best idea, huh Larkenzi?
