Vesi prefers layered clothing. Casual, long, drapey. His clothing tends toward comfortable and functional than fashionable. Plain, linen. Earthy tones that are easy to clean.Body Features
Like everyone else in the Daylwata family, Vesi has a Laz brand of the family name on his left shoulder. He got that when he Connected to Tona.Personal History
Vesikimeon is one of seven children born to the Fa’Onatlye name. Not quite the youngest though certainly one of the more adventurous, he had always envisioned a life for himself beyond the fortress-like walls of the city he grew up in. He wanted to see the world or at least escape the perceived cage the walls around the city meant to him. While he was not particularly studious, Vesi found he did enjoy working with his hands. His schooling had an agricultural bent and he frequently tended the family gardens as he grew.Though his meeting of Tonaseriessyrn wasn’t by chance – as it was at a social function organized by Daylwata to expose their eligible children to Fa – their meeting was more so. Vesi had found himself outside of the large estate early into the dinner party and meandered the ground gardens, finding the plants more interesting than the socializing inside. It was then that he’d found Tonaseri, likewise having fled from the social gathering, though he was stretched out on a bench. Napping. Something about the young man dressed up in a suit, clashing with the perceived propriety of a noble, had drawn Vesi to him.
Apparently he’d not done so quietly as his approach woke Tonaseri. Or perhaps it was the presence of compatible Shra. Vesi tended to be the one many watched until they realized how boring he was or how little interest he had in the people around him. Blouz was important.
That fateful meeting in the garden changed their lives.
Vesi and Tonaseri were Connected before they were married. Marriage was reserved for older vnou and they’d Connected when they were just 15. That did mean there was a chunk of time that they simply got to spend together. Attending lessons, learning about the nobility and functions of the Daylwata family. Vesikimeon paid more attention to his studies in this period of life than he had any other, recognizing that this was for their benefit. Tonaseri simply didn’t care. He didn’t have a mind for politics or ‘boring learning’. He took to the more physical classes. Horse back riding, animal training. Things he could put his hands to.
At the end of their schooling, it had been incredibly easy to pick what they should do. Tonaseri was given leave to work with a ranch and Vesi got to move out of the city. This was necessary training for their next step. Eventually, they would have their own place in the Stryt region, far from everyone else.
Tonaseriessyrn
Conversely, Vesi is soft spoken and sweet. Pale and, as some might describe, pretty. He’s extremely non-combative and nonconfrontational, even if as a Blouz he could end many arguments with a thought. He believes wholly in the sanctity of a vnou’s mind and has no interest in the political maneuverings of the nobility. That doesn’t mean he’s ignorant to them – or at least he wasn’t until they moved far away from the cities and the distance sort of imposed that ignorance on him.
He prefers the quiet of the open plains and the simple but busy way of self-reliance. It’s just him and Tona out in the Stryt region, tending to the horses and living their lives. Much of the interactions are now done by Tona when he cycles through animals or deals with trade.
What a comfy life
It's the simple things, sometimes. ^^ Busy but simple. A big contrast for a lot of the nobility running around.
