Tildenirt

Tildenirt (Dusk of Blooms) is a festival celebrating the start of The Illusions in Tagizdam.   The Illusions being the mildest and most temperate season of Visten, many peoples have some form of celebration at its start. In Tagizdam this takes the form of Tildenirt.   Preparations for Tildenirt begin two days before the Illusions, as the women in every family begin to prepare traditional Tagizdamian Tildenirt feasts. In the meanwhile the men make Tildenirt urns, known as Tildenirme for flowers to be put in later.   On the morning of Tildenirt Tagizdamians enjoy especially ample breakfasts as they are to fast until the dusk. Following this breakfast they head to their Domi Viniis for a sermon, prayers and to sing songs of remembrance to memorialize those that did not survive the harsher seasons.   The afternoon is spent gathering flowers from home gardens and from the flatlands surrounding the The West Chain where flowers bloom in abundance at this time. Some are used for wreaths that everyone will wear come evening, the rest will be planted into Tildenirms and hung on walls, roofs and strings pulled between the houses and over the streets of Tagizdam.   As dusk starts falling, Tagizdamians pack into the Patarsi, the main market square of the city. There they will be greeted with a Tildenirt speech from the royal couple from. This is given from the main balcony of the Korayanq, the royal palace, overlooking the market.   After the speech, the Queen will lead the city in the Third Prayer to Aidar and Bera and performs the The Spell of Illusions or "Emliskör" as it is known in the local language. After this the festivities begin with dancing and feasting continuing deep into the night.
