Korayanq

The Korayanq (Tagizdamian for "The Royal Palace") is the court and residence of the royalty of Tagizdam. Its construction was begun soon after the city itself was founded in 1100 and finished by 1160.
The Korayanq is a beautiful but imposing structure with a height great enough for the Tagizdamian royalty to be able to see the entire city from it. It serves a double purpose as a fortress of last resort, so it also has thick walls surrounding it.
While its main use is as the residence and the seat of power of Tagizdams royalty, the Korayanq also serves many ritual purposes. Its front balcony, for example, is used for recitation of The Spell of Illusions by the Queen ahead of Tildenirt celebrations.
