The Time Systems of Visten

The are two main time used in the world the Aidarian Common Time, used by the Senfid Aidarii and the Standard Time around all around Visten.

Aidarian Common Time

The calendar is divided into Dances and Cycles in the top level. Each dance represents the twin planets rotating once around the central star Urienzo, while a Cycle represents Visten and Endur rotate once around their center of gravity. Sometimes dances are referred into as a year, thought the practice is archaic and often frowned upon. Usually time is tracked in Cycles and the Dances are just skipped as they have a lesser impact on the world. However for many scientific purposes and to prepare for exceptionally harsh The Tempests the dances are also tracked.

Standard Time and Standard Calendar

Divided just into years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds. This is the most commonly used system out side of Solnater.

Other time systems

There are also few other time systems used, namely The Epoc Time used by the Autonikos, and the Cosmic Local Time used by the Myzild.
