The Tempest

The Tempest is the season following The Struggles and preceding The Draining. It consists of a gigantic, weeks long storm that floods all the worlds lowlands and even most of the hills other than the very highest of them. It marks the ending of The Struggles and the beginning of The Mirrors.
The storms and flooding are caused by the world closing on its twin, Endur, with the strength them gradually build up as the two planets close up on each other. The waves can reach as high as a few hundred meters at the very middle of the season.
