The Celestial Conclave
The Celestial Conclave is a prestigious collection of some of Gildenburg's finest wizards & sorcerers.
Every member of the Celestial Conclave wears a highly decorated robe, generally midnight blue with stars along the sleeves. Each Celestial Senate member wears a customized crown, adorned in stars. The Conclave are respected by almost every good or neutral faction in the city. Given how powerful they are, those that find themselves on the bad side of the Conclave tend to regret it in some form or another. Unless an emergency meeting is called, they are generally held every month at the The Celestial Citadel in Gildenburg Central.
Structure
The highest attainable level of the Celestial Conclave is joining the governing body of 3 "senators", which together make up the Celestial Senate.
The only other level is that of the Conclave. The numbers fluctuate, but on average they generally total 75 members, each having some talent or magical capability high above the average Gildian. These members elect a senator when a new one is needed.
In order to join the Conclave, one must be nominated by a member of the senate, who then vote on whether you will be welcomed or note. Majority is needed to pass the vote and be accepted.
Public Agenda
The Conclave plays a large role in the political and civil scene of Gildenburg. Largely remaining out issues dealing with warfare or combat, unless absolutely necessary, the Conclave tend to use their powers in more civil means such as ensuring fair elections, safe streets and overall, a prosperous Gildenburg. They are seen as the caretakers of the city.
