Ossanasso
Mimic Goblin
Appearance:
The Ossanasso, a non native creature in the lands of Violem that is fascinated with the spellcasters of the world. Three foot goblinoid creatures that typically wear cloaks, robes and loose fitted clothing to imitate the Sorcerers and Necromancers they aspire to be. Standing apart from other goblin creatures with more angular faces and sparkly green skin from all the magic coursing through their veins. Unfortunately their limited knowledge doesn't allow them to read any language meaning they are only able to copy the last spell they saw being cast.Actions:
Melee - Without any magic these clawed creatures resort to using physical aggression to deal damage. 1d4 damage with a chance to stun on a critical roll. Spellcast - After seeing what is possible, the Ossanasso gathers up all its might to replicate the same feat. Copies the last spell that it witnessed, unable to cast in combat until another player or enemy is seen performing magic.History:
Originally from the realm of Giants, these green skinned bags of mischief strayed away from the typical chaos. Becoming fascinated by sorcerers and necromancers and the way they could seemingly do anything. Overtime the goblinoids learnt all they were able to about magic. Without the ability to read they got a little creative in their methods, from taking baths in magical water pools to jumping into aura implosions hoping that they would somehow absorb the magic. After generations of attempts, the Ossanasso did evolve to become basic magic wielders. With the element of aura now running through their veins, giving their skin a new glistening appearance.I haven't come across very many of these creatures. But what I can tell you is that you never, NEVER, use magic in front of them. I have seen these green fiends conjure thorn whips and produce walls of fire. I a unsure of the magic they can't replicate. These newly magical creatures often become leaders of goblin tribes or vital members in armies full of orcs and trolls. Getting involved in conflicts that span across the realms. To the people of Violem though, they are a nuisance that can become problematic if left to their own devices.
