Disordian
A monster from the realm of chaos and servant to Achaos himself. These animalistic four limbed creatures do the bidding of their master. Ripping through tears between the realms and emanating chaotic energy wherever they travel.
In my limited access in the Great Library, I came across a peculiar creature. Hidden in forbidden books, only to be read by true champions. Describing a pale beast with distorted limbs and a false face that can freeze you with fear. Something I have no doubt I could defeat upon encounter, not without assistance of course.
Actions:
Claw - With its jagged talons, it slashes erratically at its target. 1d8 melee damage, chance to cause bleeding upon a critical hit. Grapple - Snapping its legs in unnatural ways, it extends its body and wraps around its target. Causes the stun condition upon a successful roll. If the target is grappled for multiple rounds, it begins to take -1HP per round it is grappled by the enemy. Scream - Letting out a disturbing screech from its various face holes, the Disordian bellows across the battlefield. Causes the frighten condition upon a successful hit. Able to affect the three closest targets within hearing range Mind Immune - The Disordian is immune to charms, mind based magic and psychic attacksLimited Records:
Records of the Disordian are kept under lock and key by those who are unfortunate to encounter them. Ordered by the Realm Rangers during their time of operating, due to losing three exploration teams who stumbled upon the realm of chaos by accident.A truly terrible accident that does not bear to dwell on for long. From what I can decipher of the scenario, one team of defenders had stumbled upon a rather dangereous realm. When they did not return, a further two teams were sent after them as part of a rescue mission... At the climax of the tragedy, a single portaller was forced to make a difficult decision and abandon his fellow rangers. Sentencing them to certain death... I simply do not wish to imagine what an action would do to a sorcerer.The limited information describes these pale, abominations as servants to a higher being known as Archaos, the lord of chaos. Bound to their original home world with the same curse as their master, these creatures are unable to leave the realm of chaos. Instead, they use tears in reality and unoccupied portals to claw their way out and spread chaotic energy amongst the universe in the hopes of summoning the energy required to free their lord. They are mindless, act on some kind of hive mind and rampage in hordes of dozens. Moving sporadically across the lands, able to leap great distances if required and able to climb dry surfaces. The only other piece of information that survived the purge of the Realm Rangers research is that they are capable of contorting and extending their bodies, allowing them to fit into seemingly impossible gaps and stretching what seems reasonable.
