Unlike the diplomatic frontier towns on Rorestvia's borders, Kresh exists in relative isolation, focused on the mysteries contained within the stone rather than outward political tensions. The town's population of approximately 4,200 represents one of Rorestvia's most diverse communities, with orcs forming the largest demographic group alongside humans, gnomes, and other races who have found common purpose in this remote mountain settlement.

Geography

Carved into the side of Mount Tavrosht, Kresh sits at an elevation of nearly 7,000 feet, where the air is thin and the weather unpredictable. The town sprawls across three natural terraces in the mountainside, connected by a series of switchback paths and stone staircases. Silverflow Creek provides modest but reliable water for the town's needs, fed by mountain springs and several small streams that converge through the settlement.
