Mynuk

The Mynuk are the dominant ethnic group of T'Ched. They consist of humans, droven, and giants who developed in the fertile river valley west of the and settled in what is now Scheera Pel. The gutteral Mynuk language is found throughout T'Ched and is used in most of its naming conventions.

Language

Most Mynuk are capable of speaking both Estarian and their native language, which is also called Mynuk. The mynuk language is gutteral and slow-speaking with enmphasis put on harsh, sharp syllables. As the Estarian explorer Samuel Kerth wrote:

"Many times I have encountered peoples who speak from the back of their throat and project their voice like a frog. It is only in the Mynuk that I have seen men take words from the front of their mouths and pull it back into their throats- so alien is their speech."

Dress

The Mynuk value modesty and humility. It is traditional for them to wrap themselves in cloth that covers or obscures their face, even in military service.
