Chimera

Chimera are not a unified species, but rather a catch-all name given to all of the various sapient beings that can be created by Heart Seeds. This most typically takes the form of an anthropomorphic animal with human or near-human intelligence, but chimera can also be created from corpses to create golemic undead constructs or inadimate objects as simple as doors or as complex as an entire ship.

Creation

Most chimera are created by a special kind of artisan called an Arborist. The process of creating the chimera varies by the type, but they all involve the infusion of Heart Seeds.
