House Solomon
House Solomon is one of the three houses of Wechesto.
It is known to be the newest of the current group only a few centuries old, having displaced one of the five houses in order to take its place, for that reason it is incredibly cautious, fearful of another group doing the same to it. It is primarily made up of the human descendants of those original criminals who took apart the former ruling house and rise to their current position.
House Solomon deals in the rare trade of creating, and selling the services of the magically inclined. They do this through a complex series of systems, relationships with extraplanar patrons, systems for stealing magic from them, and ways to expose people to wild magic in order to give them power. All of which are paid upfront, and have high mortality rates. This is why the practice of selling the services of magic users is more highly sought after than the service of making the nonmagical magical.
Their upper echelon is mostly made up of tieflings, aasimar, and genasi, along with other peoples who might be magically tied to other planes in order to make extraplanar communion easier. Cousins and others are encouraged to marry into extraplanar touched families, however the main ruling family line stays human in order to lessen the connection to any plane other than the prime material.
