Alakadi
Background and History
The Alakadi is a collection of Desert nomads who call the Holandian Desert their home. Their group of people once controlled the entire desert via various small governments and Empires, the last of which ended in 1085 PTF due to the Western Unification movement (Link when Possible). In this moment, the city of Tamment, which was once the crowning jewel of the previous Civilization was coined the new capital of the Holandian Government, in an attempt to pacify the growing tensions among the new citizens of Holandia, many of whom were not for joining this new government. Many of the Alakadi decided to leave their cities and to call the open deserts their home once again. Many of the Holandian upper class look down upon the Alakadi, leading to rising tensions. Some groups of Nomads even began to raid and pillage, driving up the view of the Alakadi as barbaric and uncivilized.
The 3rd Tang Conflict Effects
In the Years following the begining of the 3rd Tang war in 1234 PTF, the Holandian Military began a draft. This was not unusual, however they also began to enforce this draft of the Native groups around Western Holandia, including the Alakadi. One of these enforcement Attempts led to the Destruction of a few camps owned by the Alakadi people, and a couple hundred of their deaths. Tensions are still brewing from the event, due to the man who began the attack not being punished.

Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Most of the youth are taught their own language, which is a descendant of a Dwarvish Script. Most however have learned Holandian and common as well due to further efforts to integrate them into Holandian Society.
Shared customary codes and values
Many hold the belief, like the sand, that people should follow the wind, not to remain stubborn and harsh. Being used to a moving lifestyle, those who venture out of the Alakadi Desert tend to not stay in one place for too long.
Common Dress code
Most members of the desert roaming Alakadi wear lighter-colored clothes, which are light on the skin. White, yellow, and oranges are all common colors to be seen. While not demanded, many tend to cover most if not all of the skin on themselves to protect against the harsh sun.
Art & Architecture
Most of the Alakadi value shared experiences in their art. They have elaborate stories never written down, only passed down the generations, and songs that all members of their culture could recite from the heart. They tend to not need to write down and record, but to share instead.
