Zog (a.k.a. Shieldbreaker)

Zog Shieldbreaker is a Half-Orc, the child of a lowborn farmer woman and a vicious orc that raided her village. Being an orc baby, and a product of rape, Zog was abandoned by his mother when he was born, and taken in by a group of thieves. He enlisted in the Petrean military, and was a promising warrior, with a famously dangerous temper. Though he was on track to become a knight, he killed his commanding officer in a fit of rage while stationed in Blackburn, and was sent to the gladiator pits as punishment. He was pitted against a particularly nasty Bugbear, but awed the crowd when he drew upon his immense strength and temper to break through the opponents shield with his longsword and cleave off his arm. This earned him his famous nickname, and his freedom.

Leader of the Blood Pack

After he earned his freedom, Zog briefly joined the Brotherhood of Fortune, until he, with his friends Korth the Venomous, Verge the Vicious, and Addek the Executioner, decided to leave and form a team of gladiators. They quickly rose to fame, and they quickly accepted two new members. Zog imposed a new rule at this point, that anyone who defeats or kills a member of the Blood Pack will be invited to the Blood Pack. This caused Korth to leave, and he joined back with the Brotherhood of Fortune. After gaining much fame, and killing many people, Zog decided to have the Blood Pack fight in the Blackburn Annual Fighting Festival, which resulted in his death in the final round. He fought against the new Gladiator team, The Scraps, and he and his team vastly underestimated them, thinking it would be just another fight. Upon all of his teammates being killed, he was fighting as the last man standing. He fought with Jonah Willard, and upon realizing he was the only man left in his team, he hesitated for a moment, and was cut down by Jonah. He was stabbed and slashed multiple times, and had his throat slit. He died the final day of 4607, choking on his own blood.
