Blood Pack

The Blood Pack is the most popular gladiatorial group in the entire Hearthglen Vale, and is famous for skill only surpassed by brutality. It was founded by Zog Shieldbreaker, Addek the Executioner, Korth the Venomous, and Verge the Vicious. All of these fighters were initially members of the Brotherhood of Fortune, but decided to turn to gladiator fights in an effort to make more money. Of the four, only two still remain in the group, as Korth the Venomous left to rejoin the Brotherhood of Fortune, and Verge no longer does gladiator fighting after losing publicly to Velkyn the Vicious. He is still officially a member of the group, but he has been a recluse as of late. Zog is the leader of the group, and after Korth left he enacted a brutal rule. Anyone who kills a member of the blood pack, can join the blood pack and take their place. This is how Malgna the Murderess, and Dox the Winged Dagger joined. Velkyn the vicious joined after beating Verge, and took on his nickname to further humiliate him. Verge was technically still a part of the group, but he was shunned and cut off from the others.Downfall and Reformation
The group consistently dominated the arena in Blackburn, so they signed up for the Blackburn Annual Fighting Festival in the final month of 4607 without a second thought. Despite doing amazing and killing their opponents in the first two rounds, they were on route to fight The Scraps, a new team that took the competition by storm. Despite the success of the up and coming team, they didn't take them seriously, and made no effort to prepare for the final round. During the round, Addek the Executioner had his head ripped off, Malgna the Murderess was fatally stabbed through the heart, and Zog Shieldbreaker had his throat slit, and died choking on his own blood. Dox the Winged Dagger was beheaded, but his body quickly disapeared into smoke and flew away, confirming to the world that he is a vampire. Velkyn the Vicious suffered horrible burns on his face, and it is unclear if he will recover. After this bloodbath, the only remaining member of the group is Verge the Vicious, who is currently attempting to reform the group with new members under his leadership.
