Dhothian

God of Death, Decay, and Ending

Dhothian is the god of death, and the last of the Astrum. Dhothian was created to facilitate the natural order of things, as without finality, change cannot occur. Dhothian is sometimes referred to as the "Lonely God", as he is feared by many cultures and hated by many others. Dhothian is not an evil deity however, despite what some people would say, Dhothian's role is necessary for the existence of Veteria. According to Dhothian's followers, death is not cruel, it simply is.

Death is important. Death is crucial. Death gives us size.

-Duke Williard

Dhothian is most prominently worshipped by House Williard, and others that respect natural order and hate undead. Dhothian and his followers see undeath as an abomination, a perversion of life that should not be tolerated under any circumstances. The Williards are Veteria's most dangerous and prominent hunters of the undead, with even great High Vampires fearing them across the world. Dhothian and his followers see the destruction of the undead as the purest form of divine justice.

Divine Domains

To him, death and the afterlife are a foundational part of the multiverse. To desecrate the peace of the dead is an abomination.
