Bryce Gideon

The Golden Stag

Bryce Gideon was born to Ceric Gideon, a father he never met, as Ceric died when Bryce was two. He was mostly raised by his mother and Grandfather, and he was raised to be an honorable and just leader of his House. He hated orcs for what they did to his father, and he would personally hunt down orc invaders with a small squad he called his Golden Legion. This squad would grow and take on other tasks, eventually becoming the elite squad of Knights in Hemlock. When House Caedus took power over all the Human Kingdoms, the Golden Legion became the Emperors elite enforcers, handpicked by the emperor and his generals. Bryce soon obtained the nickname "Golden Stag" due to his blond hair and golden armor he preferred. He had first child in 1328, a son named Alfons Gideon. Alfons had a learning disability, and so was never named heir, though his family loved him greatly. Bryce once famously had an arrogant general's tongue cut out for calling his son an embarrassment in front of him. His second and third children were twin daughters, born in 1332. His final child was a son born in 1350, named Galahad Gideon. Bryce died in 1385, of an illness.
