Fort Kivri

"Ay, it's a beautiful city. The architecture alone would make many a my kin blush, with this level of master masonry. Even if it's devoted to the wrong religion. This 'fort' is built more like a temple if anything."          -Dwarf merchant's account of  Fort Kivri
Though not as old as some of the other cities in Vestra, Fort Kivri is a rising jewel of the Kordovarian sect of Civricism. The central attraction, the fort the city is named for, is the pilgrimage site for many worshippers. The religious devotion the city has is palpable to all who visit, with iconography to The Justicar in every nook and cranny. Way-shrines dot the streets, pointing the direction towards the hilltop fort, where the culmination of a pilgrims journey ends.

Infrastructure

  • Religious stores, where iconography to the Justicar, be it painting or pendants, are sold.
  • Armor-smiths, who have their work specially blessed for encounters against unholy foes. The same can be said for the weapon-smiths here.
  • Smaller temples, where confession, blessing, or rites are performed. Priests are in plenty supply.

Assets

  • The Hospitaller Hold: The main administrative building of the Hospitallers of Kivri, a religious orgsanization of knightly slayers who devote study towards paranormal threats.
  • The Justicar's Plate: The plate-mail claimed to be that of the famed saint, who slew many demonic foes, including the serpent Joriman/Jorimund. The armor is tightly guarded, but the helmet remains on display  in the fort itself, set up onto a stone-relief of the suit. Here offerings and prayers are given.

Guilds and Factions

  • Hospitallers of Kivri
  • The Kordovarian Clergy- The heads of the Kordovarian sect. Here the dogma and scripture are cared for, and all matter of information from the various churches comes here. Though a non-militant organization, they commonly call upon the Hospitallers to help with matters that may be deemed dangerous. This is also where a number of the priests in the Hospitallers are trained, before joining the knights proper.
