Sunhame
The capital of the Caisian Theocracy, Sunhame is a city of light and splendor. In the center of town sits the Temple of Kandis, home to the priesthood and the Son of the Sun. The city itself is laid out with a wheel pattern with 8 main roads that radiate from the Temple and is surrounded by a high wall with gates at each cardinal point.
Approaching Sunhame your eyes are first drawn to the high walls that encircle the city, but then the golden dome of the Temple immediately captures your attention. Shining brightly no matter the weather or time of day, the Light of Kandis is an ever present reminder of the power of the Sunpriests. In keeping with holding onto power arcane spellcasting is frowned upon unless preapproved by the church.
But just as the sun illuminates but casts shadows, this city of light has a dark underbelly. With the current state of the Sunpriests, anything is legal if you know the correct people and have sufficient funds.
