Letter from Nora Crowcaller - RRD

Janora my dear,   By now, the spell that my mother cast has begun to unravel. While it may have been the impetus for you to leave the Forest, your steps must travel even further afield for there are much greater dangers to come. Two weeks ago, Huntokar brought me visions; a warning, a promise, and a request.   First the warning - Two halves of a black metal sphere that shimmered with an oily shine. The halves were chained apart and strained to come together. The chains, which surely once had screamed with starlight and divine magic, now merely hummed. Suddenly the locks dissolved into mist and the halves leapt together, breaking through the dissolving chains. There was a flash of black and then only a terrible hungry void.   The promise - This can be stopped and you shall have a hand in this. You should already be on the right track. But you will not be able to do it alone. Just as the portal to this place where we have bound the fallen knight can only be accessed by a group of friends, you will need friends to join the circle.   The request was for me, but it came with it's own promise. Suffice to say that there are still answers to be hand for Bay Moon and I look forward to seeing you in the Crystal Citadel.   Walk lightly,
Nora Crowcaller   P.S. Have you looked in the attic recently? Be sure to check the stones near the fireplace.
