Firesnake
Description and Characteristics
Salamanders hatch from eggs that are two-foot-diameter spheres of smoldering obsidian. When a Salamander is ready to hatch, it melts its way through the egg’s thick shell and emerges as a fire snake. These snakes vary in size, but most are 4-6ft in length and are covered with plates of glowing stone. Small deep set dark eyes hide between glowing brows and a flame tongue that tastes the air. A fire snake matures into a Salamander adult within a year.
When killed, their bodies cool and turn to stone.
