Anatomy

The average human stands roughly five to six feet tall, with skin ranging from ebony to ivory and all shades of brown in between. Their hair can be shades of black, red, brown, or gold, and their eyes may be brown, blue, green, or rarely gray or purple. Other features vary as wildly as their cultures.

Humans are adventurous folk who can adapt to almost any living conditions. They have settled nearly all corners of the world, including the dangerous Western Freeholds.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Humans are found all over the world, but their point of origin is somewhat of a mystery. Legends from many cultures tell of their ancestors coming from across the sea to escape some sort of catastrophe, so one popular theory is that they may have actually come from Vesperia.

History

According to current philosophy, humans are believed to be one of the later creations of the Aeons. They have few extraordinary characteristics in comparison to other races, but the one thing that consistently sets them apart is determination. This determination is why they managed to colonize nearly every corner of Erden, even toppling the Draconic Dominions in the process, forming some of the world's mightiest empires.
