Half-orc
Often the product of alliances between humans and orcs, half-orcs are perpetually torn between two worlds. On one hand, their human blood pulls them towards law and morality; on the other, their orcish side craves adrenaline and violence. Which way they ultimately lean depends largely on how they were raised.
Additional Information
Social Structure
As hybrids, half-orcs have no society of their own. They have to fit in with one culture or the other, or else make their own community. Many have found a place in more eclectic frontier settlements like Nowhere, or founded their own small homesteads. The rest carve out places for themselves among humans or (more commonly) orcs, by force if necessary.
Facial characteristics
Half-orcs are easy to recognize. They inherit their orc parent's strong jawline, sloping forehead, and greenish or grayish coloring; both sexes have tusks, which are about an inch and a half long on males but barely visible on females when their mouths are closed.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Half-orcs find themselves most accepted among their parent races. Wherever one can find humans or orcs, there will be at least a few half-breeds among them.

Naming Traditions
Half-orcs usually have a name that suits whichever culture they were raised in, but they may change it later on. Human-raised half-orcs sometimes take an orcish name to sound more intimidating, while one raised among orcs might adopt a human name to fit in better if they leave the tribe.
