Three Lions
A longsword of crimson steel, its blade deep red and channeled with three fullers that catch shadow and light in equal measure. The crossguard is broad and golden, ornamented with scrollwork and set with two gems; a red stone on one side and a blue on the other; while the rain-guard below descends into sculpted filigree. The grip is wrapped tightly in dark red leather, cross-hatched for a firm hold, and the pommel rises to a pointed finial housing a third gem of sapphire blue. Gold accents trace the blade's base and tip, and subtle runes run the length of the fuller; not carved, but emerged, Angelic or something older.
Three Lions was reforged by the Centaur smith Kartowen from three ancient weapons that had passed through the hands of legendary heroes across the ages. It was not broken and remade; it was born from what came before. Kartowen melted Hirak Gastok's sword, Amara's axe, and Ojlijen Gastok's shield into a single alloy that shimmered like starlight upon the forge. The runes appeared on their own. The tools moved with purpose beyond the smith's own hand. He was the hammer; not the smith. The blade represents unity forged from division and strength reclaimed through sacrifice, long tied to the older line of Dawnbreaker.
