A master craftsman first and Centaur second; smith of Angelwatch Fortress, and one of the few people alive who could be trusted with what Ojlijen asked of him. Reverent toward relics and history, Kartowen sees not just metal but legacy within the forge; and when the metals he was given sang beneath his hammer, even he admitted something greater than craft was at work. His skill united what had been broken, binding memory to steel and purpose to blade. He arrived with soot on his coat and left with pride on his back and the promise of ale, which is precisely how he prefers all his interactions end.
