Rhi'amh Nocht

A village tucked away in Caelanus Bluff behind a thick growth of trees. The Kyorei of this settlement worship the Goddess of the Moon, Arlatha, and very commonly throw festivals on every notable Moon Phenomenon. On every New Moon, they host a harvest, lighting an eternal flame to keep the night bright when the Moon cannot.

Demographics

Rhi'amh Noct houses primarily Forest Kyorei, however because Taiga Kyorei also live their, the Forest Kyorei here have specialties in Ice and Force more often than what normal elements would be common for their species.

Government

The Kyorei here live by a Meritocracy. The current leader nominates an apprentice and petitions with the higher ups for approval. Their higher ups are nominated via specific prowess so it’s made up of military leaders, religious ambassadors, etc.
If the higher ups agree then it’s that apprentice’s job to show themselves worthy to the people of assuming the position in the future and work up to one day show themselves off to Arlatha to be deemed worthy by her as well which is the day they will take over. so usually not till the current leader dies or retires, as it’s a role assumed until physically unable

The village is surrounded by a Bluff of trees, hiding them away from most intrusive onlookers.

Geography

The village sets just next to the ocean and surrounded by a fluff of trees. The earth surrounding the village slowly rises into hills which smoothly decorate the Bluff with undulating terrain.
