Specific Item Crafting Rules

Adventuring Gear

Most adventuring gear can be crafted without spending gold, as common raw materials are available for free. If you want to craft adventuring gear, you'd follow the rules outlined in Mundane Item Crafting Rules. The tradeoff in crafting basic gear is the use of crafting days, as opposed to paying the gold and a downtime day with shopping. However, masterwork gear is only available by crafting and will incur gold costs, as explained in the Masterwork section.   Items that cannot be crafted through mundane crafting:
  • Packs
  • Poison
  • Holy Water
  • Alchemist's Fire (flask), Acid (vial), Antitoxin, and Oil (flask) can be crafted this way, but this may be changed in the future as updates to alchemy consumables are implemented.
