Amp

Amps come in many shapes and forms. Practically anything can be an amp so long as it meets the requirement of boosting aural magic spell strength. Only jarepite and arcanite are known to posses this ability, ergo, all amps are made out of one of these two materials at some point.
Note: Spell Poisoning is a risk when using unprotected jarepite.

Significance

Amps are one of the two basic tools for a practicing auralism mage to have (the other being conduits). Amps, through their jarepite or arcanite materials, can increase the strength of a caster's spells. This is most noticeable in the two combative branches of auralism, where the actual force of the spell is increased for damage or protection. In a more subtle manner, manipulation spells are able to handle more matter at once; Construction spells create hardier constructs.

Raw materials & Components

Amps are constructed with either arcanite (or it's pure form, Jarepite). While this makes up the core functions of the amp, various other materials can be used for the shell.
