Tiamat, the Scaled Tyrant

Tiamat, also known as the Scaled Tyrant, is the evil queen of dragons. She is a fearsome god of greed, envy, and hoarded wealth. Her sworn enemy was Bahamut, lord of the metallic dragons. She and Bhaal, the Bloodied Fist, successfully orchestrated an attack against the Lord of Dragons which resulted in his demise. The Scaled Tyrant now seethes with fury, imprisoned; beyond the help of her loyal dragon legions.

Tiamat most often takes the form of a five-headed dragon; each head is represented by the color of one of the evil dragons (red, blue, green, black, and white). She also often uses the form of a beautiful temptress, said to be so lovely that no man can resist her.

The tenets of the Scaled Tyrant largely revolve around spite and greed. They are: Do not forgive or forget an indignity to yourself; let no affront go unpunished. Take what you covet; those without the strength to defend their dominion are not worthy to have a dominion.
