Bhaal, the Bloodied Fist

Bhaal, the Bloodied Fist is the evil deity of war and conquest. His followers accept his call to conflict, seeking lesser people to break and subjugate. Warmongering nations and barbarian tribes worship him as they conquer the world. The Bloodied Fist twists all living things to his iron will, even forcing nature itself to bow to his whims.   A dark reflection of the honorable warrior, the Bloodied Fist is often depicted as a heavily muscled, gigantic man with purple hued skin, clad in jagged blood red armor with brass trim. Heads dangling from his belt, and through the mass of flowing, jet black hair that often times obscures his face, stare his unblinking, piercing yellow eyes.

Relationships

His greatest enemy is Tyrael, the Lucid Scale, the god who defeated him in the Umbral Hills during the Divine War. The Bloodied Fist and his armies lured the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut, in to the remote region by corrupting the noble metallic dragons who resided there. Once the Dragon Father reached his ruined children, anxious to end their suffering, the Bloodied Fist sprung his trap. In a clash that nearly destroyed all of southern Andeir, Bhaal ended the Platinum Dragon, killing him and consuming his divine spark. Tyrael arrived too late to save the Lord of Dragons but succeeded in besting the Bloodied Fist in combat, routing the armies of the Warbringer and rescuing the body of the fallen dragon lord.

Tenets of Faith

The tenets of the Bloodied Fist largely revolve around conquest. He teaches that fear is your ally, to conquer yours, and draw it from your foes. He believes that disorder and rebellion are to be punished severely, and that combat is the greatest gift, and perfecting your skills to master it is the greatest pursuit.
