The Lost City of Terranor
Terranor is the largest surviving construction of the Elder Spirits. For now, it's location remains shrouded in legend, but it's discovery could spark an arms-race to procure new and exciting technologies.
Architecture
A vast array of machinery layers the bottom of the city, it's true purposes long forgotten. Above that rises huge black skyscrapers interconnected by Light Tubes. The highest of the skyscrapers hold up the cavern ceiling with a combination of sheer structural integrity and advanced shielding.
Geography
During some great cataclysm that happened thousands of years ago, the entire city was buried under hundreds of feet of rock and sediment. Many sections of the city were destroyed in the process, but much of it survived thanks to shielding technology and sturdy construction. Now, much of the city exists within a gigantic cavern almost entirely cut off from the surface world.

Ooooo lovely city and an excellent plot hook to draw into a deeper story. Nicely done. Are there strange critters lingering here, ibid the underdark.
Now that you mention it, this would be a great environment for echoes if there were just some psionic energy floating around... a psion graveyard or some sort of psionic reactor would do. As for other creatures, I've needed to expand my beastiary for a while. For now I'm making do with old security systems and maybe a malfunctioning cleaner bot or two. I could probably use some inspiration on that!
Well boys and sec systems are a great start. Really I'm intrigued by allt he things you listed. Maybe some insects or other critters that thrive in dark damp places.
You also have pets the elders may have kept that survived without them. Maybe some experiments that got loose?
You've given me some cool stuff to think about. Thanks!
