A terrible manufactured plague ravaged much of the world, slowing down progress and killing many.

A mysterious illness surged throughout the Veridian continent. Starting in all major cities and spreading rapidly, it was devastating to many. Despite all attempts, no medicine or magic could cure the disease. Even the strongest of clerics and healers could only slow down its rampage. It wasn't until an anonymous adventurer and his companions discovered the origins of this illness. They found that a group of scientists and doctors following the lead of an individual going by "Terminus" created the disease. Thanks to these heroes, Terminus was apprehended and a cure was distributed, saving millions.
