Aito's Tears
A holy relic which stores great but untapped power, which is worn by the Divine as a symbol of their devotion to the Great God.
Significance
The Tear is worn around the neck of the Divine and both a status symbol and a safeguarding measure. The tear is said to hold mystical energy that, if released, could cause great damage, but what it could actually do has never been discovered. The tear, being the last of its kind, has been dormant for many eras.
However, there were once seven of these Tears, one shed for each of the children who were forced to flee the world Aito had so painstakingly created. The Tears are filled with the magic of the Great creator, Aito. Supposedly the Tears of Aito were collected by his devout followers and together they restored peace to the land as well as helping Staros, the religious capital of the continent, to become as prosperous and prominent as it is.
Rarity
The tears of the Great God Aito were once thought to be numerous, but as time has passed the only one still recorded is in the possession of the Divine who keeps it on their person at all times. It is not unheard of to find a con artist trying to sell the recovered missing holy relics to gullible civilians, but these are always dismissed and proven to be false. Thus the last remaining tear is well guarded and rarely seen.

Raw materials & Components
Aito's Tears are small crystalline droplets, which still feel damp to the touch. They are made of no substance known to mortals, and as it is not known to be the material of any other object it has not been named. They are simply Aito's Tears, not made of anything specific.
The one which is worn by the Divine is encased within a delicate silver cage, keeping it safe and secured to the chain upon which it is kept. The case has to be replaced more often than that of other necklaces, as the Tears corrode the silver away over time.
