Acnu

Acnu serves as a supply town, lying on a crossroads between three roads and on the path towards some of the largest mines on the Minin. It is a vital stop for most caravans traveling from Arrapha or Larsa. Acnu is also the closest real to Heaven's Lake.     A purple worm has just invaded the town and destroyed major parts of it. If it is going to be returned to its full health, it will take a lot of time and money. This attack will raise questions about the leadership of Acnu in a time when the Athauglas Dynasty doesn't need it.

Demographics

The population is mostly made up of people who made it to Acnu and just....never left. It's population is mostly dragonborn, lizardfolk, and a few tabaxi. Any dwarves who have tried to make their homes here often find they are taken as slaves to one of the mines.

Infrastructure

Multiple streams and creeks have been diverted to reach the town and provide fresh water to the town and those who pass through it. Additionally a deep well has been constructed that reaches deep into the earth to draw even more water to support the caravans that venture past Acnu.

Notable Buildings

The Temple of Garyx

An obelisk-shaped temple dedicated to Garyx towers above any other building in the city. The entire temple is made of stained glass mosaics. One side depicts burning mountains, new growth rising from a burned field on another, and the side behind the alter depicts an enormous, fierce-some red dragon, Garyx himself. The alter is also made of glass, a burning orange and red that flickers and moves in time with the raging sermons of the priests of the temple. There were three priests who made up the temple, but the only one left after the purple worm ravaged the city is the youngest priest, Moldaash, a son of the Roraurim Dynasty.

The Clearsighted Drunkard

The sprawling, three-story inn of the town. The bottom floor is a large tavern floor, complete with sturdy stone tables, a wide stage, and dozens of barmaids. The two higher floors are rooms for those traveling through Acnu. The building itself boasts wide, clear glass windows on the first floor that run the entire length of the front wall.
