Zips

Zipz has been with Mona's caravan as long as she can remember. She arrived, barely a child, or so the elders say, though she can't remember her life before, just flashes of light, life and ice. All she has as a reminder of her previous life is a silver necklace with an engraved 'S' One she never removes.   The caravan elders said getting her was the greatest trade in their history, although they never told her what was traded, nor was she interested. This place is her home and her family, and nothing they have done has made her think anything else. For they have a fair reputation, focusing on equal trade of all things, as well as whatever The Sabal'Har provides. They are also adept at entertainment of all sorts, but are well known for Mona's famous fortune telling.   Zipz has traveled through hundreds of towns and villages and feels right at home in a marketplace or bazar. Though sometimes her mischievous side takes over at sight of such extravagant elegance beside the poor and destitute and she feels the need to correct such an injustice, stealing from the wealthy but never with the intention of keeping the money. She always passes it on to the caravan or others in need.   When working amongst the stalls of Mona's she performs her knife tricks and often juggles in the centre of towns and villages they pass, usually to thunderous applause. However, at heart, Zipz is a shy creature, keeping to herself and minding her own business. She is never happier than when she is clapping around a campfire to a song or sleuthing around with her best friend Misxibis Ithopios.   Being a goblin, Zipz is used to the ignorant racists of Sabal and their hurtful remarks as she travelled through this strange nation. Once it may have bothered her, but her skin has grown thick over the years. And should any push her further, they will learn that entertainers are skilled in taking care of themselves.   Early in 2501AC, the caravan elder passed, replaced by his son. A human named Radin Ilmor, a much more ambitious man who aims to make the caravan richer. Unhappy with their mediocre lives he has sent some of the young talent out in search of riches to raise their status! Zipz wouldn't pass up an opportunity for such an adventure, one to help her family, her home. One she can most certainly do with her best friend!

One of the many Misfits of Mona's caravan, a small shy beautiful Goblin. That will protect the poor and weak whenever she is able. Only once has Zips met the great mona, when she hit adulthood at 13, she was invited to Mona

The Journal Entry’s title

Introduction: Plucking my knives effortlessly from the air after another successful practice. One of the caravan elders approached me with a smile and congratulating me on my form! He went on to explain that I was progressing very well and that the caravan was lucky to have someone as talented as myself! I felt my cheeks go slightly red and thanked him for the praise. He told me that today was a special day and my presence had been requested by the new Caravan leader! I had no idea what this was about so I walked over expecting more praise or a main stage show which honestly was long overdue. As I entered the tent I saw there was a gathering of people some that I recognized and some that I did not. I saw my friend missy from the caravans acting and theatre section. I went over to query why we had been summoned but she also did not know. The caravan leader then entered and told us all we had been selected for a very special task! We were to go out and search for a treasure that the caravan could use to increase its status in Sabal'har. We were told we had all showed great promise and had been carefully selected for this task due to our various skills and talent. We were split up into groups of 2 and luckily after much complaining and expert negotiation I was allowed to go forth with my friend missy! She suggested that we go to a inn or tavern in order to gather information or hints of a treasure we could pursue. I gathered my things and tools and we journeyed off too a tavern missy had heard of called the Sandlion.

Attacks

  • Sneak Attack: Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe’s distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 3d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.

  • You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll. The amount of the extra damage increases as you gain levels in this class, as shown in the Sneak Attack column of the Rogue table.
  • Fury of the Small: When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature's size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

  • Nimble Escape: You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.

  • Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

  • Cunning Action: Starting at 2nd level, your quick thinking and agility allow you to move and act quickly. You can take a bonus action on each of your turns in combat. This action can be used only to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.

  • Uncanny Dodge: Starting at 5th level, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you.
