The 30th Day of Torvald is the Day of Rule. There are two parts to this holiday. People take time to give thanks and small gifts to their rulers. Be it a town magistrate or the ruler of the empire, people give gifts and say thanks for protecting them. In return, at the end of the day, the ruler puts on a great feast for their subjects. Through this ceremony the bonds between those that rule and those that follow are re-solidified.
