Holidays
The Month of Pasir is the Month of Improvement. Everyone is challenged to find some way to improve themselves over the coming month. To be stronger, to learn something new, to be kinder or more loyal, but to improve in some way. This task is taken as a solitary endeavour, though with encouragement from others, the person seeks to better themselves by their own merit. The Festival Begins on the First of the month with everyone declaring to their families and/or friends what they hope to accomplish. It Ends on the 30th of Pasir with everyone taking time to reflect on their actions and to decide if they achieved the improvements or not. It is a day of self-reflection and quiet contemplation.
