The First Micro Rebellion

The Conflict

Prelude

Pachians from P'Ache Prime first approached the citizens of P'Ache Micro in early 220PT and the negotiation process began on 17 Four 221PT.
During this negotiation process, the Primians tried to unite the Macrans under a single banner and for the most part, over the course of 50 years, succeeded. However, after the treaty was signed, on 17 Four 271PT, it became clear that the Macrans hadn't read the fine print, or understand that the Primians expected them to be so grateful that they would become subserviant to the them.
The P'Ache Micro initiation began fairly smoothly, but when some of the smaller factions continued trying to practice their traditions and were stopped by Primian forces, things started to heat up. It took 30 years for minor infractions and small rebellions to turn into a fully blown insurrection.

The Engagement

The Macran's started their attack in three places at once, blowing up two Primian military positions and several of the largest ships in their fleet which was in orbit. This was known as the Initial Strike and marked the beginning of the war.
For the first year or so Macran had the upper hand. The Primian's weren't expecting such pushback and it took time for them to ship in the reinforcements they needed from P'Ache Prime.
However, by the year 305PT the tide had turned and the Primians had full control. The remaining three years were spent beating the Macran's into submission.

Outcome

The Macrans were abashed and defeated. They submitted but simmered with hatred for the Primians who had beaten them down.
Within 22 years, the Marcans had regrouped enough to once more take on the Primians. This became The Second Micro Rebellion.

Aftermath

The Macrans actions also destabalised the treaty the Primians had already in place with the people of P'Ache Minor and later caused a period of years called The Minor Unrest. This ultimately forced the Primians to reconsider their peace treaties and reword them accordingly. This change of wording can still be found in treaties today, over 4,000 years later.
