Duke Tristan Duval

The son of Duchess Anais Duval and her late husband, Duke Bastien Duval. He is the heir to the Duchy of the Western Plains, his mother is ruling in his place until he comes of age.
During the party's first visit to Liris, preparations were underway for a festival being hosted to celebrate Tristan's tenth birthday.
The party heard a rumour from one of the guards at the gate that Tristan's uncle, Symon, intends to depose his nephew and claim the title of Duke of Liris for himself.
The party were introduced to the young Duke when they visited the Duke's Palace to obtain a letter of permission to venture to the island of Hyberia. 
Thurdon told Tristan an embleshed story of the party's fight with the wyvern in the Temple of Valir in which he described the wyvern as a dragon, Zeph used to magic to create images that depicted the fight. 
Tristan agreed to provide the party with a letter of permission, on the condition that they return and tell him a story of the adventures on the island. Duchess Anais told the party she would have the letter ready for when they returned to the city.
