The Birth of The Valcoran Empire

Founding

1767

After eeking out a living for over one hundred years on the shores of Torrezon, the former slaves of Ssashan, spearheaded by the leaders of the Agricultural, Religious, and Mercantile orders, chose to bring about a new empire, lead by a single leader to help guide their people in this new land. Unable to decide who among them would be best, they chose the child of Osirant Neferu to wear the mantle of Empress.

The former slaves, now free men and women of Ssashan who had survived the trip across the great sea to arrive on the shores of Torrezon spent the first century of their freedom building and developing their own place in the world. They built the first city, Uhuru, City of Hope, and settled well along the southern shore of what would become The Middle Plains. They were surviving, but not thriving, not truly. Each member of the various aspects of their culture sought to hold a place of importance above the others, and were slowly beginning to pull apart from one another. Realizing the eventual outcome of this, Amanu Sehket, leader of the Mercantile order, and one of the more powerful figures within their society.
