Ssashan Enslavement

The Lizardfolk and Humans of Ssashan are enslaved.

The now religion dominated Ssashathan Empire turns on those it deems 'Lesser Beings' and begins rapid widespread enslavement. All Lizardfolk are taken and set to work as hard laborers, mining minerals and clearing wide swaths of jungle. The true Humans left in the Empire are taken and gathered into small contained slums within the cities, kept as fuel for the transformations that still take place and as sacrifices to the multitude of serpent Gods. All unrest started by the Human slaves is quickly and brutally put down. Thousands die in the process.   The Lizardfolk, interestingly, show almost no signs of struggle to their change of role, instead seeming to go about their tasks with little to no care.
