Slowly, but with great ferocity, temples all across the burgeoning Ssashan Empire begin to crop up devoted to the worship of the World Serpent. Those that followed the old Spirits are suddenly and in some cases violently snuffed out. Public meeting areas are filled with serpentine depictions, snakes are widely sought as pets and seen as symbols of wealth and status.
