Aftermath of the Cult of Four

After he and his companions finished off the last elements of the Cult of Four in Icaryst, the trail ran cold. Leaving the rest to track down Deacon Hachette in the eastern edges of the Commonwealth, it was as if the religious man of the cloth vanished into thin air. A month was spent around the area of Merrimont trying to find leads. While people nominally involved with the cult were discovered and dispatched, the Deacon himself remained at large.
It has only been recently that Benoit has a new lead from Father Malette, the head of the church of the shattered soul at Icaryst. Word has come to him that someone matching the Deacon's description has been seen in Radoon, the capital of Shahra, though his personality and manner of dress don't fit in with the Deacon. Still, it is the first scent in several weeks, and Benoit has set off to see where it leads...

Lantern of Shattered Soul

The religious man carries with him an old lantern that, at a word, flickers to life with a ghostly bluish glow. It's said to belong to Angelica, the founder of the church, though the history is spotty at best. Still, it brings with it a certain sacred reverence to the faithful, granting the man +1 asset to social interactions with people who follow the Church.
